The Court made the following judgment:
When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri K.M.Krishna Reddy, counsel appearing for the respondents, placed proceedings dated 09.07.2026, before this Court. A perusal of the location sketch map annexed to the proceedings dated 09.07.2026 would show that, plot Nos.71 & 72 were allotted in favour of the 2nd petitioner and plot Nos.69 & 70 were allotted in favour of the 1st petitioner in Sy.No.2/1 of Jaganna Colony Layout 2, of Chittiboyanapalle village, Gurramkonda Mandal. 2. The same is not disputed by the counsel for the petitioners. Insofar as the petitioner Nos.3 & 4 are concerned, Tahsildar, Gurramkonda Mandal, rejected their cases through order dated
09.07.2026. In the circumstances, the petitioner Nos.3 & 4 are granted liberty to challenge the order of the Tahsildar, Gurramkonda Mandal, through appropriate proceedings. As already noted supra, insofar as the petitioner Nos.1 & 2 are concerned, the aforesaid plots have been allotted in their favour. 3.
Further, the counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that, allotment letters will be issued within a period of four (04) weeks in favour of the petitioner Nos.1 & 2. 4
4. The said submission of the counsel for the respondents is placed on record. In such circumstances, nothing further survives to be adjudicated in the present contempt case and accordingly, the same is closed by reserving liberty to the petitioner Nos.1 & 2 to renew their request to re-open the contempt case, if the allotment letters are not given to them. 5. Further, insofar as the petitioner Nos.3 & 4 are concerned, as indicated above, they are at liberty to challenge the proceedings of the Tahsildar, Gurramkonda Mandal, in rejecting their case for allotment of house sites. 6. Accordingly, the contempt case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, pending applications, if any, shall stand closed. ______________________ JUSTICE T.C.D. SEKHAR
