CRL OP(MD). No.15345 of 2026 the weekly market had remained closed for a considerable period. According to the learned counsel, the petitioners merely demanded that the authorities reopen the market for the benefit of the public and the vendors, and on account of the said protest, the present complaint has been lodged. 4. Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the investigation is at a nascent stage and that no accused has been arrested so far. Hence, he opposed the grant of anticipatory bail. 5. This Court has carefully considered the rival submissions and perused the materials available on record. 6. Considering the nature of the allegations and the fact that the petitioners have no previous criminal antecedents, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners, subject to certain conditions. 7. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance, within a period of fifteen days 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
