The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner lodged a complaint that in connection with a civil dispute, the accused persons threatened the petitioner and his family with dire consequences. Since there was no progress on the same, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition. 3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that the enquiry is pending. 4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials before this Court. 5.
