When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that the brother of the petitioner had already filed a writ petition in WP(MD)No.1490 of 2026 and this Court, by order dated 06.04.2026 disposed of the said writ petition. However, the sister of the petitioner now has come before this Court with the same prayer. The learned Government Advocate further submitted that the present writ petition is nothing but a successive petition filed by another member of the very same family in respect of the same subject matter and cause of action. 3.
