The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that a civil dispute is pending between the petitioner and the third respondent, and that, in connection therewith, a suit in O.S. No.100 of 2026 has been instituted before the District Munsif Court, Melur. It was further submitted that, despite the pendency of the said civil suit, the respondent police are unnecessarily interfering in the civil dispute. Aggrieved by such interference, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition. 3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials before this Court. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against the private respondent, notice to him is dispensed with. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the sixth respondent police is directed not to meddle with the civil dispute between the 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.Crl.(MD)No.4144 of 2026 petitioner and the third respondent. If at all the petitioner or the private respondent are intending to get any relief, they are directed to approach the appropriate the District Munsif Court, Melur, by filing the appropriate application in OS No.100 of 2026. 5.
