The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner lodged a complaint that the petitioner has been defrauded by the private respondents to the tune of Rs.20,00,000/-. Since there was no progress on the same, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition. 3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that a summons had been issued to the parties on 16.07.2026 and that the enquiry is still pending. It was further submitted that the enquiry has been scheduled to be conducted on 18.07.2026. 4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials before this Court. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the second respondent police is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2026 and conduct an enquiry in this regard, after issuing summons to the parties concerned, under Section 64 of the BNSS, and conclude the same, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
