By filing this writ petition, the petitioner prays for a direction upon the respondents to enter the name of petitioner in the revenue record as raiyat and to accept rent and to issue the rent receipt in his favour in respect of lands under Khata No.157, Mauza Dhowatand, New Mouza Dhanbad No.51, P.S. Bank More, District Dhanbad under Plot Nos.622, 629, 630 and 631 of an area of 39 decimals. 3. There is nothing on record to show that the petitioner is in possession over the land in question. Further, the rent receipts upon which the petitioner is trying to impress this Court, cannot be said to be a document in support of the title. Further, the impugned order suggests that the land in question is recorded in the name of one Rondu Mahto as a raiyat, which clearly suggests that there is some cloud over the title of the petitioner which needs to be cleared. The same can only be done by the Civil Court of competent jurisdiction and not in a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Thus, I direct the petitioner to approach the civil court of competent jurisdiction for declaration of his right, title and interest over the land. 4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
