For Petitioner(s): Mr.S.Nambi Arroran For Respondent(s): Mr.V.Sivalingam Government Advocate Order This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to issue a relieving order to the petitioner in the light of transfer and posting order passed by the 1st respondent in Ref. No. 12886/N2/2/2025 dated 16.06.2025 by considering the petitioner’s representation dated 17.06.2026 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. 2. It is the case of the petitioner that she is working as a Staff Nurse in the 3rd respondent Hospital. She was initially appointed as a Nurse on consolidated pay on 12.02.2016 and was subsequently brought under regular time scale of pay on 18.11.2024. The petitioner was transferred from the 3rd respondent Hospital, Namakkal, to the 4th respondent Hospital, Ramanathapuram, by the transfer and posting order dated 16.06.2025 issued by the 1st respondent. However, she has not been relieved by the 2nd respondent to enable her to join duty at the transferred place. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 17.06.2026 to the 2nd respondent seeking issuance of a relieving order. Since no action was taken, she has filed the present writ petition seeking the aforesaid relief. 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents. 4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought in this writ petition, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.06.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 28844 of 2026 __________ Page4 of 5 5.
