The petitioner is the wife and the first respondent is her husband. IDOP.No.2842 of 2014 was filed by the petitioner seeking for dissolution of her marriage with the first respondent. According to the petitioner, due to the filing of several interlocutory applications, IDOP.No.2842 of 2014 is pending from 2014 onwards. Now, the said IDOP is in the part-heard stage and has been posted for cross-examination of the petitioner (PW1). 3. No prejudice will be caused to any of the parties if a direction is issued to the Family Court to dispose of the aforesaid IDOP within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. After giving due consideration to the year of the IDOP and the present stage of the said case, this Court directs the II Additional Family Court, Chennai, to dispose of IDOP.No.2842 of 2014, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents, notice to them in this CRP is dispensed with.
