ORDER This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to issue sanction against the Assistant Commissioner of Police and the Inspector of Police, V1 Villivakkam Police Station, based on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 01.04.2026, so as to enable the learned XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, to proceed further with Crl.M.P.No.2297 of 2026.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 01.04.2026 seeking sanction to prosecute the Assistant Commissioner of Police and the Inspector of Police, V1 Villivakkam Police Station, Chennai, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands
