JUSTICE M.I.ARUN) The contempt petition is filed with prayer to punish the accused for violating the order passed in W.P. No. 104248/2023. The order in W.P. No. 104248/2023 is passed on 23.11.2023. The order reads as follows. “3. Accordingly, the writ petition is allowed. Direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner vide Annexures-E to E2, in accordance with law preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner relating to plot bearing No. 25/1.” 2. The petitioner has submitted a copy of the order passed in W.P. No. 104248/2023 along with the representation to the respondents in the writ petition on 31.12.2024, which is more - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC-D:1966-DB CCC No. 100457 of 2025 than one year after the passing of the order. Thereafter the contempt petition is filed on 03.12.2025. Thus under the circumstances it has to be held that the complainant has initiated contempt proceedings beyond the period of one year which makes it time barred as per Section 20 of The Contempt of Courts Act, 1971. 3. For the aforementioned reasons, the contempt petition is hereby dismissed.
