The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No.632 of 2025 (N) registered for the offences punishable under Sections 21(b)/22(b)/23/25 of the NDPS Act and Section 111 (2)(b) of the BNS, 2023. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that from the petitioner was involved in drug abuse and 1.69 gms of brown sugar was recovered from the petitioner and from the co-accused persons who were also involved in drug abuse different quantities of brown sugar was recovered. It is submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false. It is next submitted that altogether 20.87 gms of brown sugar has been recovered from the accused persons of the case, which comes under intermediate quantity. It is next submitted that the petitioner undertakes that he will co-operate with the trial of the case. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has been in custody since 31.12.2025 as mentioned in para-17 of this bail application. It is next submitted that the co-accused has been granted bail by the co-ordinate bench of this Court vide order dated 01.04.2026 in B.A. No.2472 of 2026. Hence it is submitted that the petitioner be released on bail. Learned Spl.P.P. opposes the prayer for bail. Considering the facts of this case, the above-named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, NDPS, Ranchi in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No.632 of 2025 (N) with the condition that he will co-operate with the trial of the case and furnish his mobile number and photocopy of the Aadhar Card in the court below with an undertaking that he will not change his mobile number during the trial of the case.
