[2026:RJ-JP:7770] HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE FOR RAJASTHAN BENCH AT JAIPUR S.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 3287/2025 Subhas Swami S/o Nagar Mal Swami, Aged About 61 Years, Resident Of Narhar Tehsil Chirawa, District Jhunjhunu. ----Petitioner Versus 1. State Of Rajasthan, Through Principal Secretary, Department Of Mines And Geology, Government Of Rajasthan, Secretariat, Jaipur. 2. Joint Secretary, Department Of Mines And Geology, Government Of Rajasthan, Secretariat, Jaipur. 3. Superintending Mining Engineer, Department Of Minest And Geology, Jaipur. 4. Mining Engineer, Jhunjhunu. ----Respondents For Petitioner(s) : Mr. Karan Tibrewal For Respondent(s) : Mr. Priyam Agarwal for Mr. Vigyan Shah, AAG HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ANUROOP SINGHI Order 18/02/2026 The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order dated 19.03.2019, issued by Mining Engineer, Jhunjhunu, in respect of Mining Lease No.372/2006 for Mineral Masonry Stone near Village Sanjay Nagar (Meena ki Dhani) Tehsil Khetri, District Jhunjhunu. Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, submits that invoking the benefit of Amnesty Scheme, he has deposited an amount of Rs.85,00,000/- in lieu of the aforesaid impugned demand order and thus, nothing further survives in the [2026:RJ-JP:7770] (2 of 2) [CW-3287/2025] matter and prays that in pursuance to the said deposit of demand being made by him, the respondents be directed to proceed accordingly. The factum of payment of Rs.85,00,000/- under the Amnesty Scheme by the petitioner is not disputed by learned counsel for the respondents. Considering the fact that the demand stands settled on payment of Rs.85,00,000/- by the petitioner under the Amnesty Scheme, the benefits as would accrue to the petitioner on account of the payment of the due amount would certainly follow. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, stands disposed of. (ANUROOP SINGHI),J JAYANT KUMAR /37
