By the present writ petition, the petitioners seek direction upon the respondent authorities for grant of ‘A’ category scale of pay. 2. The petitioners contend that they are all Assistant Teachers under the District Primary School Council, Uttar Dinajpur and joined in the year 2021. At the time of joining, the petitioners had completed B.Ed. qualification. The petitioners have not been granted ‘A’ category scale of pay. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Mr. Pritam Chowdhury, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners’ entitlement be considered by the appropriate authority. He submits that liberty be given to the petitioners to file 2 comprehensive representations separately for grant of ‘A’ category scale of pay. 4. Learned Advocates for the District Primary School Council, Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal Board of Primary Education as well as State concede to such submissions. 5. In view of the above, liberty is granted to the petitioners to file comprehensive representations separately before the respondent No.3, Commissioner, School Education Department, Government of West Bengal seeking for grant of ‘A’ category scale of pay within a period of four weeks from date. Upon receipt of such representations, the respondent No.3, Commissioner, School Education Department, Government of West Bengal shall consider and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order in accordance with law upon notice to the petitioners, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of such representations. 6. Learned advocate for the petitioners is directed to communicate this order to the respondent No.3, the Commissioner, School Education Department, Government of West Bengal, for necessary compliance. 7. With the above direction, the writ petition being WPA 15868 of 2025 stands disposed of. 8. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted. 9. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. 10. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of. 3 11. There shall be no order as to costs. 12. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 13.
