It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that despite having applied for an electricity connection, WBSEDCL have refused to take any steps. On behalf of WBSEDCL, it is submitted that the petitioner has been unable to provide any proof of residence justifying an electricity connection. The private respondents are represented and submit that they have been wrongly impleaded in the proceeding and the occupiers of the 20/2, Ghoshpara Road, Barrackpore should have been impleaded. It is also submitted that they are actually occupants of 20/4 and 20/18, Ghoshpara Road, Barrackpore, Kol. 700120. 2 In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties and the Reports filed by the parties, WPA 21629 of 2025 stands disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to apply for a fresh electricity connection after complying with all necessary and relevant formalities as prescribed for by WBSEDCL.
