ORDER: Heard Mr.Kiran Kumar Baligamsetti, learned counsel for the petitioners, and Mr.G.Neelothpal, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State/respondent No.1. 2. Mr.Kiran Kumar Baligamsetti, learned counsel for the petitioners, would submit that the Criminal Petition is filed challenging FIR.No.24 of 2020, dated 30.01.2020, registered by Gudur I Town Police Station, Sri Potti Sri Ramulu Nellore District, for the alleged offence punishable under Section 498-A of IPC against the husband of the first petitioner and his relatives.
He would further submit that there is nothing against the petitioners and that the main allegations are only against the husband of the first petitioner. 3. Mr.G.Neelothpal, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, would submit that, on 16.03.2021, this Court, as an interim measure, directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioners, including arrest, while permitting the investigation to go on. In view of the said direction, no coercive action was taken against the petitioners. Upon completion of the investigation, a charge sheet is filed, which was taken on file as C.C.No.648 of 2024 on 08.11.2024 by the learned Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Gudur. He would further submit that the case is presently posted for issuance of summons to the accused. 4. In view of the said facts placed by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the learned Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Gudur, to proceed with the trial in C.C.No.648 of 2024 and complete the same as expeditiously as possible. 5. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
