Heard Mr. Alok Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Ghanshyam Joshi, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State.
2. By the instant writ petition, the petitioner is praying for the following reliefs: -
“(i) Issue a suitable writ, order or direction to expedite the disposal of Misc. Civil Case No. 23 of 2025 'Satyapal & another Vs. Collector, Haridwar filed under section 152 & 153 of CPC, pending before the court of 1" Additional District Judge, Roorkee, District Haridwar which is pending since 31-07-2025 as expeditiously as possible, or within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court under the facts and circumstances of the case enumerated in the body of writ petition. (ii) Issue any other writ, order or direction, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstance of the case. (iii) Award the cost of the petition to the petitioner.”
3. The relief as sought appears to be innocuous.
4. Mr. Ghanshyam Joshi, learned Additional CSC for the State has not objected on the relief as sought.
5. In such view of the matter, the instant writ petition is disposed of finally with the direction to the learned Ist Additional District Judge, Roorkee, District Haridwar to expedite the Misc. Civil Case No.23 of 2025, “Satyapal
2026:UHC:3504 & another vs. Collector, Haridwar, which is a proceeding under Sections 152 and 153 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, as early as possible, preferably within one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
