This Court, vide order dated 03.09.2025 passed in MCRC No. 5196 of 2025, while allowing the bail of the applicant, namely, Abhinav Rai, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certi>ed copy of that order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge, NDPS Act Bastar Place Jagdalpur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 27.02.2026 has requested for grant of two months time for concluding the trial. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that the case is presently >xed for defence evidence, however, no defence witness has been produced by the learned counsel for the defence. It further appears that the defence witnesses are not readily available and time has been sought for their production, which has been granted by the trial Court. In such circumstances, it is likely that some further time would be required and the case may take approximately two months for its conclusion. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of two months from the date of receipt of a certi>ed copy of this order. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed o5 with the aforesaid direction. 7.
