This petition is filed, praying that the petitioner not be harassed. In view thereof, the petitioner may appear before the 2nd respondent police on one day and the enquiry may be completed on the same day, or, if not, within one additional working day. Thereafter, the parties shall be bound by the outcome of the enquiry. The petitioner shall not be repeatedly called for the enquiry. 3. The learned counsel for petitioner would submit that in the guise of enquiry that too on the complaint of the petitioner, the petitioner is now being pressurised to settle the property. It is made clear that the preliminary enquiry is only to check whether prima facie the veracity of the allegations made in the complaint and the civil issues between the parties will not be taken up or ordered to in the process of the enquiry. 4.
