Petitioners have applied for No Objection Certificate from Nagar Palika Parishad for opening a buffalo meat shop. The said application was reportedly made on 06.05.2026. Since no decision is taken on that application, therefore, petitioner has approached this Court. 4. Mr. B.D. Pande, learned counsel appearing for Nagar Palika Parishad submits that as per the byelaws, buffalo meat shop can be permitted only at a designated place and it appears that petitioners have sought NOC for a place other than that earmarked by Nagar Palika Parishad. He, however, submits that since petitioners have alleged that their representation is pending, therefore, decision shall be taken thereupon, as early as possible. 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the Executive Officer, Nagar Palika Parishad, Ramnagar to take decision on the representation made by petitioners on 06.05.2026, within three weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
