The petitioner has called in question the notification dated 12.03.2015 issued by respondent No.2 (Annexure-G), insofar as it relates to the appointment of respondent No.3 as a Member of the District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum, Uttara Kannada and seeking a direction to appoint the petitioner to the said post. 2. Learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the respondent-State submits that the tenure of respondent No.3 as member of District forum, Uttara Kannada has already come to an end in the year - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC-D:2372 WP No. 104550 of 2015 2019. It is therefore contended that the relief sought in the writ petition has become infructuous by efflux of time. 3. This writ petition was filed challenging the appointment of respondent No.3 pursuant to the notification dated 12.03.2015. In view of the completion of the tenure of respondent No.3, the relief sought to quash the appointment, no longer survives for consideration. 4.
