Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representations dated 09.04.2024 and 09.01.2025 before the respondents to enhance the compensation by referring the matter to the Civil Court. However, till date the same was not considered. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Mr.B.Vijay, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of first respondent and Mr.C.Prabakaran, learned Government's counsel accepts notice on behalf of second respondent and submitted that the respondents have referred the petitioner's case to the City Civil Court, Chennai for enhancement of compensation on 03.04.2025, however, the same was returned for certain defects, which will be rectified by the respondents as expeditiously as possible. 4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 5. Recording the submission of the learned Government's Counsel, this Court directs the respondents to rectify the defects and re-present the same for enhancement of compensation, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 27748 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
