In this writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the impugned Refusal Check Slip dated 21.04.2026 issued by the respondent, whereby the registration of the final decree passed in O.S.No.105 of 1999 was refused. The said decree is an ex parte decree passed by the Learned District Munsif, Musiri, and the registration has been refused based on the circular issued by the Inspector General of Registration in Na.Ka.No.34930/C1/2019 dated 27.02.2023. 3. The learned State Counsel for the respondent would submit that a fresh circular was subsequently issued in Na.Ka.No.34930/C1/2019 dated 11.07.2024, wherein it was clarified that Sub-Registrars cannot refuse registration solely because a decree is ex parte. 4. In view of the above submission, it is open to the petitioner to represent the final decree passed in O.S.No.105 of 1999 on the file of the 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P (MD).No.20453 of 2026 learned District Munsif, Musiri. If any such decree is re-presented, the respondent shall register the same, if it is otherwise in order. 5. With this direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
