Mr. Pankaj Kumar Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. The petitioner is the plaintiff of a divorce suit filed by him under Section 13(1) (ia) & (ib) of Hindu Marriage Act bearing O.S. No. 179 of 2024 Nikhil vs. Pallavi. 3. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondent/defendant has not filed the written statement despite notice and she is delaying the proceedings. He also submits that both of them were married in the year 2015 and living separately since 2017, and there is no issue from this wedlock and their marriage appears to be a dead marriage. 4. The relief as sought appears to be innocuous. 5. In such view of the matter, the instant petition is disposed of finally with the direction to the Additional Principal Judge, Family Court Haridwar to expedite O.S. No. 179 of 2024 Nikhil vs. Pallavi preferred under Section 13(1) (ia) & (ib) of Hindu Marriage Act as expeditiously as possible preferably within four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. 6.
