GP FOR SOCIAL WELFARE The Court made the following: 4 ORDER:- Heard Sri Mohammed Baji, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare appearing for the respondent Nos.1, 2, 4 and 6. 2. The present writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not releasing financial assistance of the second installment of Rs.5,00,000/- due to the 2nd petitioner under the scheme of “NTR Videshi Vidya Deevena.” 3. When the matter has been coming up for consideration, the learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare has placed before the Court a copy of the instructions received by him in the case. A perusal of the same would reflect that the net amount payable to the petitioner is Rs.5,00,000/-. The bill was also processed by the AP EBC Corporation and the same was submitted for clearance, however, on account of closure of the financial year, the bill was returned. It is further stated that the same would be processed as soon as the budgetary approval is granted. 4. Having regard to the above, as the sum of Rs.5,00,000/- is admitted to be payable to the 2nd petitioner, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the respondents to remit the admitted amount of Rs.5,00,000/- to the 2nd petitioner within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 5 5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
