Mr. Ishwari Datt Paliwal, Advocate, for the petitioner. Mr. Maneesh Bisht, Brief Holder, for the State. (2) Petitioner is serving as Gram Panchayat Vikas Adhikari in District Dehradun. She was posted at Chakrata Block. Later, she was attached in Vikasnagar Block, on her own request, reportedly on 21.6.2025. That attachment order has now been cancelled by order dated 8.5.2026. Thus feeling aggrieved, petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the cancellation order. (3) Perusal of impugned cancellation order reveals that it has been passed pursuant to direction issued by the State Government on 24.4.2026. (4) Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid Government Order deals with the cases in which Gram Panchayat Vikas Adhikari was attached in some other district, therefore petitioner’s case is not covered by that Government Order. (5) Learned State Counsel, however, submits that State Government had directed cancellation of all attachment orders, whether that attachment is within the district or beyond the district. (6) This Court finds substance in the submission made by learned State Counsel. Thus there is no scope for interference. Writ petition is, however disposed of with liberty 2026:UHC:3792 to petitioner to make representation to the competent authority regarding her regular posting. If she makes such representation within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within four weeks thereafter.
