This contempt petition is filed by the petitioner alleging willful disobedience of order dated 27.01.2025 passed in WPS No.8559 of Digitally signed by PRAVEEN KUMAR SINHA Date: 2026.02.07 17:29:09 +0530 2 / 3 2022 in not regularizing services of petitioner even after clear direction is issued by the Court. 2. Learned counsel for respondents would submit that considering number of writ petitions filed and order passed by this Court, now State Govt. has issued a letter to Principal Chief Conservator of Forest who is the head of Forest Department on 03.02.2026 to review all the cases in which claim of employees are of regularization and to send the requisite proposal for appropriate action to State. He also pointed out that in the letter it is also mentioned that if posts are not vacant then supernumerary posts are to be created. In view of letter received from State Govt., proceeding to consider the claim of petitioner and similarly situated employees would be expedited. He submits that he may be granted some more time to conclude the proceeding as observed by State Govt. in its letter dated 03.02.2026. 3. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and also perused the documents annexed along with this contempt petition. 4. Considering the contents of letter dated 03.02.2026 which is placed before this Court by respondents, wherein State Govt. has directed Head of Forest Department to initiate proceeding and to screen the employees based on their claim for regularization which also bears name of petitioner and further to create supernumerary posts if posts are not lying vacant for regularization, this contempt petition at this stage is disposed of directing respondents authority to conclude the proceeding as directed by the State Govt. in its letter dated 03.02.2026 within further period of 6 months. 3 / 3 5.
