Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for State-respondents. 2. Present petition has been filed seeking following substantial relief:- "i). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to protect life and liberty of petitioner and his family members and further direct the respondent authorities to take necessary action against the private respondents. ii) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the District Magistrate, Mirzapur (Respondent No.3) to decide the application dated 17.12.2025 given by the petitioner within stipulated period." 3. At the outset, learned Standing counsel for the State submits that dispute between the parties is private in nature and the petitioner has remedy to lodge F.I.R. or file civil suit before the competent authority/ court. He further submits that the present writ petition is liable to be dismissed as not maintainable. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute the aforesaid facts. 5.
