GP FOR HIGHER EDUCATION The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE TARLADA RAJASEKHAR RAO WRIT PETITION No.25600 of 2021 ORDER:- Shorn of all unnecessary facts, the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to direct the 2nd respondent to approve the promotion of the petitioner with regard to the Principal of the 4th respondent College by sanctioning the increment to the petitioner based on the proceedings in Rc.No.1/Estb.Principal/Recruit/2019-20 dated 12.03.2020 of the 4th respondent with all consequential benefits. 2. 2. It is stated in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition that the 2nd respondent in his proceedings Rc.No.226/Admn.II/2020 dated 22.01.2021, issued no objection for submission of pension papers of the petitioner and the petitioner got pension through proceedings dated 23.03.2021 by the office of the Accountant General (A&E), Government of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravathi, but the petitioner’s promotion with regard to Principal of the 4th respondent college has not approved by the 2nd respondent, due to the non-approval, the increment has not been sanctioned to the petitioner by the respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to approve the promotion of the petitioner with regard to the Principal of the 4th respondent College. 4 3. The DPC has approved the promotion of the petitioner, vide proceedings dated 12.03.2020. As the DPC has approved the promotion of the petitioner to the post of Principal, the petitioner is entitled for the relief claimed by him. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent authorities to approve the promotion of the petitioner with regard to the post of Principal of the 4th respondent College pursuant to the proceedings of the DPC dated 12.03.2020. The respondents are further directed to finalise the pension as per the approval granted by the DPC dated 12.03.2020. There shall be no order as to costs.
