Agarwala, learned counsel for the applicant. 2. MAC Appeal No. 7652 of 2024 was settled in National Lok Adalat on 13/09/2025 at an amount of Rs.49,95,000/- and accordingly it was disposed of with the direction that the said amount would be deposited by the Insurance Company within 45 days; statutory amount of Rs.25,000/- to be refunded; an amount of Rs.10 lakhs was to be kept in fixed deposit in any Nationalized Bank. However, with regard to the direction for fixed deposit, the period was not mentioned nor was it indicated as to in whose name the amount was to be deposited. 3. It may be mentioned that there were 4 claimants in the proceeding before the learned Tribunal and who were respondents in the Appeal. They have filed the instant Interlocutory Application seeking clarification regarding the fixed deposit, contending that due to the ambiguity in the order passed in Lok Adalat, they have not been able to receive the amount and it is also contended that they are in need of money. 4. I have perused the order and the necessary clarification sought for by the applicant needs to be made. Page No.# 3/3 5. Therefore, it is directed that the amount of Rs.10 lakhs directed to be kept in fixed deposit in any Nationalized Bank, shall be done so in the name of the applicant No. 1, Birahi Bordoloi, stated to be aged 60 years.The deposit shall be kept for a period of 3 years. It is stated in Para 4 of the Interlocutory Application supported by an affidavit that the other applicants do not have objection if the amount is allowed to be released to the said Birahi Bordoli, who is the mother of the other 3 applicants. 6. Accordingly, after the fixed deposit of Rs.10 lakhs, the remaining amount shall be released in favor of applicant No. 1, Birahi Bordoli, mother of applicant number 2 to 4. 7. The IA stands disposed of on the aforesaid lines. 8. This order shall be read as part of the order dated 13/9/2025 passed in the MAC appeal in the National Lok Adalat. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
