It can be seen that, on account of the enmity, apart from causing grievous injuries to the petitioner, the accused had threatened that one day or the other they would eliminate the petitioner and his family members. Therefore, apprehending danger to his life and limb, the petitioner has filed the present petition. 3. Therefore, the said threat expressed by the accused shall be kept in mind by the respondent police, as and when any input leads to a reasonable belief that the accused side may attack the petitioner in future, due action shall be taken to protect the life and limb of the petitioner. If any offence is committed, the case shall also be duly registered and investigated by the respondent police. 4.
