1. The present Writ Petitions are filed questioning the action of Respondents in not paying the monthly salaries to the Petitioners as on date for the period they worked in the Respondent-Society and to declare the same as illegal and arbitrary. 2. As the issue in all the Writ Petitions is similar, a Common Order is being passed. 3. The Petitioners are the employees working in Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Andhra Pradesh Backward Class Welfare Residential Schools (Boys) in various places in different Districts. As the Petitioners in all these Writ Petitions were sought to be retired from their service on attaining the age of 60 years, they had filed W.P.No.18891 of 2024, W.P.No.12857 of 2024, W.P.No.26707 of 2024 and W.P.No.12684 of 2024 respectively before this Court and this Court passed interim orders thereon extending the benefit of enhancement age of superannuation upto 62 years on par with the regular employees and further directed the Respondents to continue the Petitioners in service until further orders till attaining the age of superannuation of 62 years. Pursuant
9
to the interim orders passed by this Court, the Petitioners continued in service and despite the fact that the Petitioners were discharging duties, their salaries were not being paid by the Respondent-Society the present Writ Petitions are filed. 4. Today, learned counsel for the Petitioners as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent-Society submits that this Court vide Common Order dated 29.01.2026 in W.P.No.4913 of 2024 and batch allowed the said Writ Petitions holding that the Petitioners therein are entitled to be continued in service till attaining the age of 62 years. 5. In view thereof, the present Writ Petitions are disposed of directing the Respondent-authorities to pay salaries to the Petitioners for the period they worked in the Respondent-Society pursuant to the interim orders passed in the respective Writ Petitions. 6. No order as to costs. 7. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
