PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following: ORDER: The Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for brevity ‘the Cr.P.C.,’)/Section 528 of the 2 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity ‘the BNSS’) seeking to grant pre-arrest bail to the Petitioner/Accused No.1 in Crime No.83 of 2026 of Martur Urban Police Station, Bapatla District, registered for the alleged offence punishable under Section 118(1) read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity ‘the BNS’). 2. Ms.P.Akhila Naidu, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, submits that since the victim suffered only a simple injury, the Police have issued a notice contemplated under Section 35(3) of ‘the BNSS’. 3. In view of the above, there is no apprehension of arrest of the Petitioner. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of, directing the Petitioner to comply with the conditions mentioned in Section 35(3) of ‘the BNSS’. The Investigating Officer is further directed to complete the investigation. As a sequel, Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. _________________________ DR. Y.
