The petitioner seeks to recall P.W.1, the victim child, for cross- examination. This issue is no longer res integra, having been dealt with in detail by this Court in Ramesh Vs. The State of Tamilnadu (Crl.O.P.No.16742 of 2026 dated 01.07.2026). 3. In view of the settled legal position, the secondary victimization of a child victim through repeated examinations before the Court cannot be permitted. Consequently, the Trial Court has rightly dismissed the petition. 4. Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. 20-07-2026 Neutral Citation: Yes Sni https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL.OP.No.19164 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 To 1.The Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Chengalpattu. 2.The Inspector of Police, AWPS - Mamallapuram, Chengalpattu District. 3.The Public Prosecutor, High Court of Madras. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL.OP.No.19164 of 2026 __________ Page4 of 4 D.BHARATHA CHAKRAVARTHY, J.
