Tripti Chauhan Vs Ratan Singh Negi, being illegal, without jurisdiction, and contrary to the provisions of Section 9 of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890; b) Hold and declare that the learned Family Court at Saket, New Delhi has no territorial jurisdiction to entertain and adjudicate the petition, as the minor does not “ordinarily reside” within its jurisdiction; c) Dismiss the guardianship/custody petition filed by the Respondent before the said Family Court for want of jurisdiction; This is a digitally signed order.
