The trial Court, by judgement dated 15.11.2022, convicted the respondent and sentenced her to undergo two years simple imprisonment and to pay the cheque amount of Rs.11,00,000/- as compensation. The learned Sessions Judge, by judgment dated 01.02.2025, allowed the appeal, setting aside the conviction and sentence of the trial Court, against which, the present appeal has been filed. 2. The learned counsel for appellant submitted that during the pendency of the appeal, the matter was referred to the mediation. In the mediation, the issue between the appellant and the respondent got resolved. In the meanwhile, the appellant passed away and the present petition is filed to substitute the legal representatives of the sole appellant as appellants in this appeal. The death certificate of the deceased appellant and the legal heir certificate produced. 3. The learned counsel for the respondent has no objection to bring in the legal heirs of the complainant as appellants.
He further submitted that during the mediation, the issue got resolved and agreed to settle the amount of Rs.65,00,000/- and there was some cases filed by the appellant, which have to be withdrawn. 4.
