He has already undergone more than 11 years of incarceration. 2. By way of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner seeks a direction upon the respondent to consider and effect the confinement/transfer of the petitioner to a semi-open prison. 3. As no further orders are sought at present, the present writ petition is disposed of, in terms of Mr. Bhandari’s submission 6.
