Ms. Sibangi Chattopadhyay Ms. Momotaj Begam .....for de-facto complainant. Petitioner has approached this Court because of two and half years none of the witnesses are going to the trial Court for deposition. Learned advocate for the de-facto complainant opposes the prayer for bail. Learned advocate for the State submits that five/six witnesses are left and all the witnesses belong to the police department. This being the scenario, I direct the Deputy Commissioner of Police, In-Charge of Pandaveswar police station to monitor the case so that all the five/six witnesses who belong to the police department be present on each and every date fixed by the learned trial Court. 2 Learned trial Court is directed to complete the trial within 30th June, 2026. Petitioner would approach this Court after the aforesaid time frame is over. Learned advocate for the State would communicate this order to both the Deputy Commissioner of Police of the Commissionerate concerned as also the Learned Special Court in seisin of the case. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 126 of 2026 is dismissed. Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
