ORDER
06.03.2026
1. After arguing for a while, when learned counsel for the petitioners was confronted with the question of maintainability of the writ petition, which involves serious disputed questions of fact which cannot be gone into while exercising the writ jurisdiction, he submitted that he would feel satisfied if the representation alleged to have been filed by the petitioners, which has been placed on record as Annexure-III dated 04.02.2026, is considered within some reasonable period, as the same till date has not been accorded due consideration.
2. On the asking of the Court, Ms. Priyanka Bhat, Advocate, appearing vice Mrs. Monika Kohli, learned Sr. AAG, has caused appearance on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 4 and she is not averse to the disposal of the writ petition in the said manner.

3. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the instant petition is taken up for disposal at the very threshold.
4. Since an innocuous prayer has been made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of by directing the Deputy Commissioner, Samba, to accord due consideration to the representation alleged to have been filed by the petitioner, which has been placed on record as Annexure-III dated 04.02.2026, within a period of four weeks, strictly under rules and as per law, from the date a copy of this order along with the writ petition and annexures is made available to him.
5. The order of consideration, which is likely to be passed, shall be forwarded to the petitioners through registered post.
6. Needless to say, if the Deputy Commissioner, Samba, intends to hear the petitioners, she may do so by intimating the petitioners in advance, and the petitioners shall be at liberty to produce the relevant record for reference before the Deputy Commissioner, if required.
