The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a physically challenged woman with 40% permanent orthopaedic disability and was allotted an Aavin milk vending agency at Depot No.587, Arapalayam Bus Stand, Madurai, in the year 2014. It was submitted that the petitioner had been operating the agency satisfactorily and her licence was periodically renewed up to the year 2021. Thereafter, despite repeated requests, the respondents failed to renew her licence. The learned counsel further submitted that apprehending the appointment of a new agent, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 22.06.2026 seeking re-appointment and expressing her willingness to comply with all the prescribed conditions. The learned Standing Counsels appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 22.06.2026 would be considered in accordance with the applicable rules and guidelines. It was further submitted that if this Court grants reasonable time, the respondents would examine the petitioner's request and pass appropriate orders on merits in accordance with law. 4. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.06.2026 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, if necessary, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
