The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.1088 of 2024, registered for the offence under Sections 47(a), 47(b), 47(c), 47(d), 47(e), 52(d) and 55 of Excise Act, pending in the Court of the learned C.J.M., Seraikella. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come on suspicion. He further submits that recovery of spirit and foreign liquor have also not been made from the house of the petitioner. He next submits that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent, as disclosed in paragraph 12 of this application. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement. 5. Considering that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and nothing has been recovered from the house of the petitoner and in that view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks from today and the learned Court shall release the petitioner on such terms and conditions as the learned Court may deem fit and proper. 6.
