Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following relief:- “(i) That the writ of mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the respondents to grant retiral pension due to the petitioner w.e.f. 01.07.2023 alongwith entire arrear with interest at the rate of 9% per annum.” 2. When the case was taken up for consideration today, learned Counsel appearing for the Office of the Accountant General informs the Court on the strength of Pension Payment Order dated 20.01.2026, which is taken on record that in terms of this Order, an amount of Rs.15,700/- as pension has been sanctioned in favour of the petitioner. 3. In light of this development, these proceedings are closed with the observation that as from the month of March, 2026, let regular pension be released in favour of the petitioner and as far as the arrears are concerned, the same be made good within a 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:4951 period of three months from today, failing which the petitioner shall be entitled to interest @6% as from the date of of this judgment.
