Today, it is submitted that the District Collector, by proceedings dated 06.07.2026, has directed the Tahsildar to carry out the necessary corrections in the revenue records. However, the Tahsildar has not completed the said exercise. Since the District Collector has complied with the directions issued by this Court, no case of contempt, as alleged, is made out. The Tahsildar shall carry out the consequential corrections and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of the Tahsildar failing to comply with the said directions within the stipulated period, the petitioner is at liberty to reopen the Contempt Petition. 2.
