ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to modify the condition imposed by this Court in CRL.O.P.(MD).No.9006 of 2026 dated 25.06.2026 that “the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders”.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already been granted bail in another case in S.C. No.373 of 2025 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Virudhunagar District. As per the conditions imposed therein, the petitioner has been directed to appear before the concerned Trial Court on all working days for a period of three weeks. Simultaneously, in the present case, the petitioner has also been directed to appear before the respondent Police daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders in connection with Crime No.581 of 2025.
3. The learned counsel further submitted that investigation in the present case has been completed, the final report has already been filed, and the case is now pending before the competent Sessions Court. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
CRL.M.P.(MD).No.14759 of 2026 Therefore, the petitioner could not comply with the condition of appearance before the respondent Police. He further submitted that the petitioner is willing to comply with any condition that may be imposed by this Court.
4. Considering the above submissions, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed by this Court in CRL.O.P.(MD).No.9006 of 2026 dated 25.06.2026. Accordingly, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the respondent Police once in a week, i.e., on every Tuesday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of four weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. Except to the above extent, the other conditions imposed earlier shall remain unaltered.
