The present Special Leave to Government Appeal has been filed with a prayer to allow the Government Appeal and to quash and set aside the judgment and order dated 14.10.2025 passed by the learned Special Judge (N.D.P.S.)/ District Judge, Almora in Special Sessions Trial No. 13 of 2020, “State vs. Mayur Negi and Another”, relating to offences punishable under Sections 8/ 21 of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1985. 5. Upon consideration of the submissions advanced by learned State Counsel for the Appellant and upon perusal of the material available on record, this Court is of the view that, at this stage, sufficient grounds exist for grant of leave. Accordingly, the Special Leave to Government Appeal is granted. 6. Trial Court Record has been received. 7.
