This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay a sum of Rs.8,01,118/-, which is due to the petitioner towards the works executed by the petitioner. 3. When the matter has been taken up for consideration today, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare, appearing for the respondents, has placed before the Court, a copy of instructions received by him in the case. A perusal of the same would reflect that an amount of Rs. 8,01,118/- is payable to the petitioner. The said amount has already been sanctioned and shall be paid to the petitioner upon obtaining permission from the competent authority for the continuation of NABARD Tranche-XXII. 4. Having regard to the above, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition directing the respondents to release the amounts that are due to the petitioner within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of the order. 4 5. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
