The counsel for the petitioner has submitted that this writ petition was filed on 05.05.2026 and has been listed for the first time today. However, on 06.05.2026, the petitioner has been served with a show cause notice under Section 5 (i) of the Nagaland Eviction of Persons in Unauthorised Occupation of Public Land Act, 1971, and accordingly, he submits that in order to assail the said show cause notice, learned counsel seeks liberty to withdraw the present writ petition to approach again.
