Petitioner is serving as Block Elementary Education Officer (BEEO), Education Block, Sadar-II, Kataula, District Mandi, H.P. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner had joined at the aforesaid place only on 09.04.2025, however, keeping in view his impending retirement within one year and the factum of his 95 years old aged father suffering from serious ailment, he had preferred a representation on 04.10.2025 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.2 seeking 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. his adjustment in his home Education Block, Drang-II, District Mandi. Learned counsel submitted that petitioner had made aforesaid representation anticipating availability of vacancy of aforesaid post on 31.12.2025, however, the post has been filled-up as on today. Learned counsel submitted that petitioner be reserved liberty to represent to the respondents again for his adjustment at a suitable place in view of petitioner’s impending retirement and in view of his family circumstances whereafter respondent No.2/Competent Authority be directed to decide that representation within time bound schedule. 3. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioner to prefer a representation for his adjustment in accordance with law. If such representation is so made by the petitioner, same shall be considered and decided within two weeks from its receipt. The decision so arrived at, shall be communicated to the petitioner.
