The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
“…to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents 1 & 2 in not considering petitioner’s representation dated 06.06.2026 for taking action for cancellation of Doopa Deepa Neivedyam (DDN) scheme extended to the 5th respondent and to conduct public auction of the temple lands measuring Ac.4.51 cents (Ac.2.08 cents in Sy.No.451/1 of Pidaparru village, Kollipara Mandal, Guntur District and Ac.2.43 cents in Sy.No.138/1 of Atthota Village, Kollipara Mandal, Guntur District) as bad, illegal, arbitrary, without jurisdiction and violative of Article 14, 21, 25 and 26 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 4 to forthwith take action on the representation dated 06.06.2026 as per law and to cancel DDN scheme to 5th respondent and to conduct public auction of subject lands and pass such order or orders.…”
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri K.Koteswara Rao, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.4. 3. The simple prayer in the Writ Petition is to direct the respondents to pass appropriate orders on petitioner’s representation dated 06.06.2026, which was filed for not allowing the petitioner to offer Doopa Deepa Neivedyam and to conduct public auction of the temple lands admeasuring Ac.4.51 cents (Ac.2.08 cents in Sy.No.451/1 of Pidaparru Village, Kollipara Mandal, Guntur District and Ac.2.43 cents in Sy.No.138/1 of Atthota Village, Kollipara Mandal, Guntur District. 4

As the prayer is only to direct the respondents to consider petitioner’s representation, this Court is of the view that keeping the writ petition pending and inviting a counter-affidavit will not serve any purpose. 5. Hence, the present Writ Petition is disposed of, at the admission stage, with the consent of learned counsel appearing on either side, directing the 2nd respondent to address the petitioner’s representation dated 06.06.2026, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
