The present Interlocutory Application has been instituted praying for impleading the following Authorities; “(i) The Chairman, Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC), Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, North Block, Central Secretariat, New Delhi, Delhi-110001, India, (ii) The Commissioner, Customs, Central Excise & Service Tax Siliguri Commissionerate, Siliguri- 734001, and Page No.# 3/3 (iii) The Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Fulbari Land Customs Station, Vill- Champatgach, Fulabari, Jalpaiguri”, as respondents nos.6, 7 and 8 respectively. This Court has perused the contention raised in the present Interlocutory Application as well as perused the order dated 28.04.2026, passed by this Court in the connected writ petition being WP(C).No.59/2026, and accordingly is satisfied that the authorities sought to be impleaded as respondents nos.6, 7 and 8 in the connected writ petition are necessary and proper parties for adjudication of the issues arising, therein. Accordingly, the applicant is permitted to implead the above mentioned Authorities as party respondent nos.6, 7 and 8 in the connected writ petition.
